During an interview on “Morning with Maria” on Tuesday, Republican Nationalist Senator Kevin Cramer criticized President Biden’s policies for sending “bad signals” to investors and the market.
Sen. Kevin Kramer: The first thing he could do was lift all his regulatory frenzy… On his first day in office, he signed many regulations and executive orders, and rescinded many good executive orders put in place by President Trump. As he said in his introductory article, He inherited a very bad economyIt was very stable. But the reality is that he inherited a strong economy, built on a strong foundation, built on fewer regulations, and lower taxes. And the reason we were able to get back so quickly after COVID was because of the foundation that the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress created before the pandemic.

He (Biden), instead of seeing it doubled down on stupidity, passed the US bailout with just all Democratic support, adding $2 trillion of fuel for inflation. He increased regulations… He largely stopped oil development in the USA, or at least stopped it where it was. And worst of all, Maria, I think all of these things, as well as many other things, send bad signals to investors and the market. So while he talks a little bit one side of his mouth about wanting to stimulate energy development, when he talks about energy development, he wants to get tax incentives for clean energy, for electric cars… All the time, the world is crying out for more of our oil and gas and energy resources. The other power – so everything it does is sending the wrong messages.
