BP3 has additional technology to strengthen its position in European and American markets
BP3, the global leader in the design and delivery of business process automation software, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of professional automation consultancy Extra Technology. The acquisition will cement BP3’s position in the fast-growing smart automation market in EMEA and the US, as Extra Technology has proven to be resilient in the face of market changes over recent years.
The acquisition of a global leader in workload automation is the seventh in BP3’s history and plays a key role in BP3’s growth strategy, ensuring that BP3 remains on track to become the leading provider of intelligent automation services globally.
The deal will see Extra Technology operate as a BP3 company and separate legal entity, before being fully integrated into BP3 over the next two years.
The addition of Extra Technology’s unparalleled workload automation capabilities and expertise, supported by a team of fully accredited experts, many of whom are from workload automation vendors and senior IT managers backgrounds, will allow BP3 to significantly expand its existing offering.
The synergy between BP3’s offering, customer base and Extra Technology will allow the two companies’ customers to benefit from a broader range of first-class workload automation and intelligent automation solutions, as well as intelligent document processing, process automation, robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence.

The acquisition will also provide customers with support for additional software packages and access to a growing number of automation and artificial intelligence experts.
Together, these expanded capabilities will allow customers to scale up automation and reap the benefits faster, while strengthening BP3’s expanded presence in the EMEA market and allowing it to expand its appeal to US-based customers.
In addition to Extra Technology’s robust workload automation business, BP3 will have 20 employees in Extra Technology and the London office, with all employees at both companies expected to remain in their current positions.
