According to Trump, Musk told the former president that he voted for him in 2016, which, if true, appears to contradict remarks Musk made earlier this year on Twitter. in Tweet in JuneIt was the first time he had voted for a Republican, Musk said when he voted for Texas congressional candidate Myra Flores.

“He said that day, ‘Oh, I never voted my Republican,’ and I said, ‘I didn’t know that, you told me you voted for me,'” Trump said at the rally. “So he’s another bullshit artist.”

Trump’s criticism of Musk was not too surprising given that Musk had said he would endorse Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – considered by many to be Trump’s biggest challenger in 2024 – for president. But it’s somewhat surprising given Musk’s pledge to reactivate Trump’s Twitter account after he completed his purchase of the platform, and because Many members of Trump’s party cheered When Musk announced his apparent transition from Democrat to Republican (which may not be true, as Many online users speculated Musk’s pimping of the conservatives was a way out for a Business Insider investigation, which alleged that Musk exposed his penis to a flight attendant and offered to buy her a horse in exchange for a sex massage).

Trump’s remarks at the Alaskan crowd came just a day after Musk announced his withdrawal from his deal to buy Twitter, saying the company had violated “multiple” terms of an agreement the two parties reached in April. Musk bought a 9% stake in Twitter earlier that month, and the company later agreed to sell the rest to him for roughly $44 billion. Trump took the news as an opportunity to promote his social media company, Truth Social, which he created as an alternative to Twitter after his account was suspended in the wake of the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol.

“Won’t buy [Twitter]Even though it might happen later, who the hell knows what will happen. He got a very rotten contract, I looked at his contract, [it’s] Not a good decade, Trump said. Subscribe to the truth, we love the truth and it does good.

Musk, who is very active on Twitter, has not yet responded publicly to Trump’s comments.
