Durham, North Carolina – A famous restaurant in North Carolina, Giorgios Bactasias Asian Street Food Restaurant, krill, Opens on Fridays in Durham.
The restaurant is a collaboration with chef and business partner Jason Lawless
The name Krill refers to the small fish known to “feed an entire ecosystem, similar to how this small restaurant hopes to feed a community,” according to a press release on Friday.
This is the eleventh restaurant of the Georges Hospitality Group.
“We are so fortunate to have Chef Jason Lawless and a diverse team on board; Jason revitalized Parisad when he took the helm in 2016 – elevating our flagship restaurant on the Mediterranean, and together we spent years dreaming and planning krill as a way to celebrate Jason’s talent and love for Asian cuisine. Bactasias said. “This will be a great playground to share the beautiful journey of discovering Asian flavor and culture, without limits or restrictions. Jason’s menu is very tasty, fun and innovative.”
krill menu Designed for sharing with a mix of hot and cold appetizers, wok pans, noodles, skewers and large plates. Krill fried rice in a wok combines Chinese, Filipino, Thai and Japanese influences with the addition of crab paste, shrimp, Chinese sausage, cilantro, Thai basil and bonito.
