Sheep army burns 150 million sheep in the past days: details

The Shib Army continues to lock SHIB coins into dead wallets in the hopes of raising the coin’s price, but has failed to reach its goal so far. Meanwhile, another 150 million meme tokens have been burned as part of the long-running SHIB burning initiative.

Meanwhile, last week the community managed to incinerate more than one billion Shiba Inu.

Destroyed nearly 200 million Sheba

According to the Twitter page of Shibburn, a service that tracks SHIB burning and destroying meme coins themselves, in the past few days, approximately 149.6 million meme coins have been moved to non-spendable wallets to be locked there permanently.

The largest block of these four has been burned in the past 24 hours – 87,574,132 SHIB, with 12 transactions taking place to move that amount of cryptocurrency to dead wallets.

12,738,009, 18,875,469 and 30,614,624 SHIBs were burned before that, respectively.

The number of gray bears achieves a new achievement

As covered by U.Today earlier this week, the Shiba Inu community has reached a new historical milestone related to the number of holders.

On July 20, the on-chain data service WhaleStats reported that the number of Shiba holders had crossed the 1,210,000 mark.

On Friday, a whale called ‘BlueWhale0159’ acquired a staggering $150,000,000 in Shiba Inu, which was worth $1,750,500 at the time of the trade. The investor still holds these tokens, unlike other whales who sold them or transferred these coins to other wallets right after they were bought.
